Describe the role and purpose of Therapeutic Foster Care services in supporting children and youth in foster care. 2.Identify the impact of trauma, abuse, neglect, and adverse childhood experiences on the development and behavior of children in foster care. 3. Explain key principles of trauma-informed care and how they promote healing, stability, and positive outcomes for children and families. 4. Recognize the responsibilities, requirements, and support services available to individuals and families interested in becoming foster parents. 5.
