Topic:  Keeping Your Sanity is an Ethical Obligation.  Presented by:  Elizabeth Black, LCSW.  By the end of this course, participants will be able to:  1. Define self-care within the context of ethical social work practice, referencing relevant codes of ethics (e.g., NASW Code of Ethics) and professional standards.  2. Identify the ethical implications of neglecting self-care, including how burnout, compassion fatigue, and impaired judgment can impact client outcomes and professional responsibilities. 3. Analyze real-world case scenarios to explore the intersection of ethical decision-making and personal well-being.  4. Recognize signs of professional impairment in oneself and colleagues and outline appropriate steps to address it ethically.  5. Discuss how systemic issues (e.g., workload, vicarious trauma, organizational support) impact the ethical responsibility for self-care, and explore strategies for advocacy and systemic change. 1.00 Ethical hour.  Pre-registration is required to be awarded CEU credit.

Topic:  Bone and Health Nutrition.  Presented by:  Emily Ward, MPH, RDN, LDN.  During this presentation the presenter will:  1. Explain the significance of maintaining bone health.  2. Define osteopenia and osteoporosis, highlighting their key differences.  3. Identify essential nutrients necessary for optimal bone health.  4. Evaluate the importance of label reading and the role of supplements in bone health. 5. Describe exercises that support and promote bone health.  1.00 General hour.  Pre-registration is required to be awarded CEU credit.
