Topic: A Social Worker in the State Legislature: How Social Work Values Impact Law Making, presented by Jessica Domangue, LCSW, LA Rep. District 53.    The interview will cover details on how social work values impact a social worker in an elected position, the value of social workers in legislative positions and specific bills and legislation that was passed or blocked as is related to social work practice. Social workers will be educated on high impact areas such as vaccinations, freedom of information in libraries and efforts to stifle access to resources, transgender issues and interstate compact changes which impact social workers.  1.50 General hours.  Pre-registration is required to be awarded CEU credit.

Principles of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.  Presenter will review Psychoanalytic and Object Relations Theory, assessing domains of functioning, and psychodynamic formulation.  Stages of ego development and defense mechanisms will be reviewed.  Supportive and uncovering approaches and interventions will be presented with focus on ego-building.  Presented by:  Charles Lee, LCSW-BACS.  Member $50  /  Nonmember $85  3.00 Clinical CEU.
