Calling All Students and Retirees:
Volunteer with Us at NASW-LA 2026 Conference!
Are you a student eager to jumpstart your social work career, or an NASW Retired Member* wanting to stay engaged and share your expertise? Volunteer at the NASW-LA 2026 Conference! Volunteer for just four hours and gain access to the entire conference at 75% off the regular price—only $60!
Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to connect, learn, and contribute to the social work community! Start your volunteering journey by registering for the conference at the volunteer level. After registering, you will receive a follow-up email with instructions on selecting your volunteer shift. Please read these instructions carefully to ensure you choose your shift and complete the required volunteer training. Volunteer registration closes February 27th.
Note: Retired volunteers must hold an active NASW Retired Membership.
Introducing: University Participation Contest!
The NASW-LA Conference University Participation Contest recognizes the Louisiana social work program with the highest student attendance at the 2026 NASW-LA Annual Conference. The winning university will receive a traveling award and hold the title for one year, with recognition during the conference.
Only students count toward a university’s total. Students must register by the March 9 deadline to be included. Students may participate as either conference registrants or conference volunteers, and both count equally. Faculty, staff, and non-student attendees are not included. Universities must sign a commitment letter to participate.
